The Team Europe Knowledge Hub and Support to European Development Policy facility connected Commission policy with country programming and operational learning. Work for DG INTPA combined coordination of expert assignments with financing guidance, institutional analysis, stocktaking, case studies and practical monitoring and training support.
Context and purpose
The Team Europe Knowledge Hub and Support to European Development Policy facility helped DG INTPA connect policy priorities with country programming. Technical support addressed the institutional and financing choices involved in Team Europe and Global Gateway implementation.
The work
Expert coordination and quality assurance accompanied financing analysis, interviews and thematic dialogues with EU Delegations and Member States. Work covered EFSD+, blending, guarantees and DFI co-financing, as well as political economy, stocktaking, Joint Intervention Logics and the MORE monitoring framework.
Outputs and use
Technical briefs, stocktaking reports, right-financing guidance, case studies and training and monitoring products supported operational learning. Country assistance included Bangladesh’s decent-employment initiative, Team Europe work in Malawi and cooperation analysis in Lebanon and Yemen.
