Indonesia’s Integrated National Financing Framework

Indonesia’s Development Finance Assessment and Integrated National Financing Framework examined how public, private and international finance could support national priorities. Financing data, institutional analysis and national dialogues connected instrument choices with implementation constraints, green investment and arrangements for monitoring and review.

Context and purpose

Indonesia’s Development Finance Assessment and Integrated National Financing Framework sought to align public, private and international finance with national priorities. The assignment examined how institutions, regulations and incentives affected the suitability and implementation of financing options.

The work

Analysis covered revenue, expenditure, climate finance, private investment and capital markets. A financing taxonomy supported assessment of blending, guarantees and public-private partnerships. National dialogues brought government, financing institutions, investors and civil society together around green investment, de-risking and implementation choices.

Outputs and use

Contributions to the Development Finance Assessment, INFF roadmap and monitoring arrangements supported the Ministry of Planning’s financing work. The outputs clarified instrument choices and the policy and institutional steps needed to put a financing framework into practice.
